4 to 6 Relevant Experience
- Highly experienced in delivering AV & UC technical support.
- 3+ Years experience in Enterprise AV/UC Support of 3000+ users.
- Expert in AV tech, Unified Comms, Microsoft Teams platform, Teams Meeting Rooms (MTR), Windows 10/11, MacOS, iOS/Android.
Rosponsibilities
- Primary objective is to provide specialised 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd Line Technical AV, Hardware, UC and Teams Productivity Suite Support for JLR including our key/critical & senior users to strict service and experience levels.
- Liaison with other internal departments such as Property, and AV contractors.
- Commission AV and room systems in terms of their electronics, mechanical, audio and optics to meet the needs of JLR, using proven technology and also looking for new and interesting solutions to problems.
- Support Onsite and Offsite AV events as required inc assessments, reconnaissance, requirements and event management.
- Survey and Quote for AV as required by the business and manage supplier.
- QA and signoff to standard all AV installs, events and services.
- Physical setup elements of AV/UC to prove the concept.
- Maintain effective asset tracking and maintenance.
- Provide detailed management reporting and CMdB for AV.
- Maintain stocks, spares and services as required to fulfil the service.
- Implement maintenance schedules of all AV equipment, rooms and proactive/preventative measures.
- Deal with all aspects interfacing of audio visual systems into JLR facilities, this will encompass both hardware, software, licensing and infrastructure interfaces.
- Perform on-site commissioning and configuration programming of our AV/UC tech.
- Attend all JLRs sites, affiliates and offsite events to manage service call outs, surveys, break fix, consultancy and perform on-site service maintenance as required.
- Define, document and implement global AV standards for JLR.
- Possess a good underpinning technical knowledge of Electronics and Audio Visual Systems.
- Organised and flexible with the ability to approach different types of tasks during the working day.
- Ability to plan and organise work.
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure is essential.
- Competent to a high level of Digital Workplace tech.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to think laterally finding an appropriate solution to fulfil any AV/UC requirement.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written, being able to communicate with company executives to building contractors.
- Ability to work to the highest quality standards with attention to detail ensuring that we complete our work thoroughly, never walking away from a problem.
- Provide support for Unified Comms, Meeting Technologies and Meeting Room services, including testing, monitoring and break/fix.
- Support DWP Continual Service Improvement objectives.
- Maintaining and grow relationships across immediate team, suppliers, wider IT organisation and business domains.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on available and emerging technologies to determine the potential impacts and business value.
- Provide Digital Workplace AV/UC Project administration & support.
- Contribute to the management of supplier commercials and services, where external suppliers are used to deliver services.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
