6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform 100% hands-on technical work in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions.
- Design and develop data models at conceptual, logical, and physical levels, ensuring alignment with industry-recognized data modeling patterns and standards.
- Take end-to-end accountability for Data Architecture and Lifecycle Management, including non-functional requirements and operations management.
- Implement and oversee ETL and ELT processes using the latest tools and techniques.
- Ensure cloud security and identity best practices are followed for a secure environment.
- Apply deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Blob Storage, ESB, Event Grid, Azure SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, and Analytics (Power BI).
- Architect fit-for-purpose and fit-for-use solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure cloud stack (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Utilize advanced SQL, Python, and Scala for data processing in Azure Synapse and Data Lake.
- Develop data solutions that support structured (relational databases) and unstructured data (Data Lakes and NoSQL).
- Work with big data platforms and NoSQL technologies, ensuring efficient data management and retrieval.
- Apply expertise in Metadata Management, Data Quality, and Data Lineage tools.
- Implement architectural patterns like Domain-Driven Design, multi-tenancy, microservices, scalability, performance optimization, and federation.
- Collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Provide work estimation, risk analysis, and resource planning inputs to management.
- Manage timelines, escalations, and regular status updates to key stakeholders.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and strong understanding of its product features.
- Exposure to other cloud solutions like Google Cloud and AWS is a plus.
- Strong hands-on experience with data processing technologies like Apache Spark and Databricks.
- Proficiency in application platforms like .NET, Python, and Java.
- Familiarity with networking, authorization & authentication protocols, data security, and disaster recovery.
- Solid knowledge of data modeling approaches, including Star, Snowflake, 3NF, and Data Vault.
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases.
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with SMEs, manage project execution, and handle escalations effectively.
