6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform 100% hands-on technical work in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions.
- Possess deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure products and features, with exposure to other cloud solutions such as Google Cloud and AWS being a plus.
- Design and implement data models at conceptual, logical, and physical levels while adhering to industry-recognized data modeling patterns and standards.
- Take ownership of end-to-end data architecture and lifecycle management, including non-functional requirements and operations.
- Understand overall IT system design, including networking, authorization and authentication protocols, data security, and disaster recovery.
- Apply knowledge of the latest technologies to process large volumes of data, including Apache Spark and Databricks.
- Utilize expertise in MDM, metadata management, data quality, and data lineage tools.
- Ensure best practices in cloud security and identity management.
- Develop and manage ETL and ELT processes using modern tools and methodologies.
- Architect and implement complex, scalable, and resilient solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud stack, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Work extensively with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Blob Storage, ESB, Event Grid, Azure SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, and Analytics tools like Power BI.
- Leverage deep understanding of architecture patterns, including domain-driven architecture, multi-tenancy, microservices, scalability, performance, and federation.
- Have hands-on experience with application platforms like .NET, Python, and Java.
- Understand and implement big data platform concepts and NoSQL technologies.
- Model data for both structured relational databases and unstructured data in Data Lakes and NoSQL database engines.
- Apply expertise in data modeling approaches such as Star, Snowflake, 3NF, and Data Vault.
- Work efficiently with SQL, Python, and Scala in Microsoft-based environments such as Azure Synapse and Data Lake.
- Write advanced SQL queries and work with relational databases while being familiar with multiple database systems.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Provide work estimation and contribute to resource and risk planning for project management.
- Coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders, manage project timelines, handle escalations, and provide timely status updates.
