Job Descritpion of Firmware / Embedded Tester
6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience
- Understanding in embedded / firmware testing Understanding of networking protocols (IP, ICMP, ARP, TCP/UDP etc)
- Familiar with Linux application testing
- Experience in L2/L3 Protocol testing Familiar with tools such as Wireshark or packet generating tools for stress or load testing.
- Understanding of Zigbee, IEEE802.15.4 , Wifi protocols , Security (EAP / PKI)
- Understanding of any metering protocols such as ANSI, DLMS or ABNT
- Any scripting language such as Perl, Bash, Python or TCL would be added advantage
