4 to 6 Years Relevant Experience
Required Skills & Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of Tivoli Workload Scheduler Z/OS (TWSz), including control and monitoring systems.
- 5-7 years of experience in administering TWSz functions, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of job schedules on the mainframe platform.
Desired Skills & Responsibilities:
- Efficient administration of TWS 10.1 in a TWS End-to-End environment, supporting Production, Development, and QA environments.
- Analyze and manage complex application dependencies, collaborating independently with application developers to optimize batch job schedules.
- Evaluate scheduling requests, exercising independent judgment to either reject with a comprehensive explanation or propose alternate scheduling solutions.
- Proven ability to design and build job streams for complex workflow automation scenarios.
- Experience with event-based scheduling.
- Hands-on experience with CA-11 (CA Workload Automation Restart Option for z/OS Schedulers).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across various departments, skill sets, and management levels.
- Strong expertise in mainframe batch environments, including TWS support operations, best practices, and processes.
- Experience with data analytics and strong Excel skills.
- Knowledge and experience with DWC v10.1 is a plus.
- Familiarity with Segus TWT tool is a plus.
- Experience with REXX coding is a plus.
- Knowledge of JIRA and Agile methodologies is a plus.
