This job will include working in shifts (weekday/weekend) and on-call duty. Own and continuously improve our service offering. Collaborate effectively with product development and customer-facing teams to enable robust automation and seamless operations. Handling the outages and scheduled activities during the shifts. Researching, developing, and implementing new tools and processes to improve and automate operational support.
- Previous working experience as a Linux/cloud Administrator for 8 years.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux: SUSE, RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.
- Install and maintain all server hardware and software systems, as well as manage server performance and availability.
- Linux Boot process, Performance issue troubleshooting.
- Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP.
- Experience with Linux-based VPN clients, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, file systems, and authentication.
- In depth knowledge in traceroute, tcpdump, tracepath, nc, ifconfig, nmap, netstat, ethool, RAID & different types/class8.
- Hands-on experience in DNS, ftp, samba, ldap, e-mail, ntp, nfs, dhcp services, config, vmstat, iostat, nfstate.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Cloud administrators manage cloud-based infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage solutions, and networking components. They ensure that the infrastructure is optimized for the cloud and that it meets the organization's requirements.
- Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring: Cloud administrators monitor the performance of cloud-based infrastructure, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and making necessary changes to optimize system performance.
- Security and Compliance: Cloud administrators ensure that cloud-based infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements. They work with IT security and compliance teams to implement security and compliance controls and ensure that they are being followed.
- Collaborate with IT Teams: Cloud administrators work closely with other IT teams, including developers, operations, and security teams. They collaborate with these teams to ensure that cloud-based infrastructure meets the organization’s requirements and can support its goals.
- Automation: Cloud administrators develop and implement automation processes to simplify and streamline the management of cloud-based infrastructure.
