• We are looking for a skilled and experienced Oracle APEX & Tomcat Administrator.
• As an Oracle APEX & Tomcat Administrator, responsible for managing and maintaining the Oracle Application Express (APEX) environment as well as the Apache Tomcat web server.
• You will collaborate with developers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of our organization's applications built on the APEX platform.
• Proven experience as an Oracle APEX Administrator or similar role. Hands-on Experience on Oracle APEX Installation, Configuration and Upgrades.
• Hands-on Experience administering Apache Tomcat web server.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts, SQL, PL/SQL programming language.
• Proficiency in administering and configuring Oracle Application Express (APEX) as well as managing Apache Tomcat server environments.
• Experience in troubleshooting application performance issues for both APEX applications running on Oracle database backend and Tomcat-based web applications.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Application Express (APEX) software. Manage and maintain the Apache Tomcat web server.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of both the APEX environment and Tomcat server to ensure high availability and user satisfaction.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data within APEX applications.
• Provide technical support to developers working on APEX applications, troubleshooting issues related to both APEX and Tomcat.
• Collaborate with database administrators to ensure seamless integration between the APEX environment, Tomcat server, and underlying databases.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system configuration, processes, and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new features in Oracle APEX and Apache Tomcat.
