We’re seeking a Senior Linux Administrator with expertise in Ansible automation and platform engineering to optimize our infrastructure. You’ll manage deployments, automate workflows, and ensure high availability across Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, and Kubernetes environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deployment Management: Oversee seamless platform updates/releases with zero downtime.
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Proactively address performance, security vulnerabilities, and bugs. Conduct routine patching/upgrades.
- Automation: Streamline tasks using Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation (IaC).
- Integration: Act as a bridge for secure data transfers between internal platforms and third-party systems.
- Containerization: Implement Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift for scalable orchestration.
- Middleware Support: Administer Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic stacks.
Technical Skill Set
Core:
- Senior-level Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation.
Platforms & Tools:
- Middleware: Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic.
- Containerization: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker.
- Messaging: Kafka, MQ.
- Data/ETL: Snowflake, Databricks, Glue.
- Analytics: Dataiku.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with UiPath RPA, Airflow, or Microsoft Power Automate.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab).
- Certifications: RHCE, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), AWS/Azure.
