6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience
- Experience as a SharePoint Administrator, managing both SharePoint Online and/or On-Premises environments.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration.
- Experience with Office 365 administration and integration with SharePoint.
- Experience in configuring and managing SharePoint Search, Metadata, and Term Store.
- Configure and deploy SharePoint features, solutions, and customizations. Implement site templates, themes, and branding.
- Provide support to end-users by troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint-related issues. Manage user permissions, access rights, and authentication mechanisms.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, subsites, libraries, lists, and web parts.
- Proficiency in PowerShell for SharePoint administration tasks.
- Familiarity with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Nintex Workflow, and/or Power Automate.
- Understanding of SQL Server in relation to SharePoint.
- Knowledge of network protocols, DNS, firewalls, and Active Directory integration.
- Strong Understanding of SharePoint Security Implementation and Configuration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

8 to 10 Years Relevant Experience
- Managing and checking the overall server health and functionality
- Monitoring SharePoint disk space usage through the built-in SharePoint reports for each site collection
- Managing SharePoint permissions
- Analyzing and reporting upon SharePoint usage and activity
- Moving/copying sites
- Regular review of the events and messages reported in Event Viewer and Performance Monitor
- Regular review, clean-up, management and configuration of SharePoint accounts and sites. This portion of the role will work closely with an Active Directory administrator if they are separated.
- Regularly analyzing SharePoint content and storage
- Monitoring SharePoint trends (e.g., site usage and growth, disk space usage and growth)
- Regularly auditing your SharePoint environment, Identifying and reporting governance violations
- Checking for operating system, SQL Server and SharePoint patches and cumulative updates.
