Job Summary:
We are seeking a SIOPS Junior Server Engineer to manage and support server infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in Windows Server OS, SAN, Networking, EUC, Cisco UCS, and VMware, along with exposure to Dell EMC vBlock, VxRack, and VxRail environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Windows Server OS environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage Storage Area Networks (SAN) and troubleshoot storage-related issues.
- Support networking operations, including configuration, monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Handle End-User Computing (EUC) support to enhance user experience and system performance.
- Work with Cisco UCS for server infrastructure management and optimization.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware environments for virtualization needs.
- Manage and support Dell EMC vBlock, VxRack, and VxRail solutions.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues proactively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Windows Server OS administration.
- Experience in SAN management and networking fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with EUC solutions and troubleshooting end-user issues.
- Knowledge of Cisco UCS server infrastructure.
- Proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with Dell EMC vBlock, VxRack, and VxRail solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
