8 to 10 Years Relevant Experience

• This role will help gather information from data system owners via documentation, data dictionaries, and conversations to allow for the creation of consumer-friendly names, definitions, and data guides that will be sent to consumers to help explain the information they will receive as a response to the consumer request for download or delete of their personal information.  
• Other responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with communications, data stewardship/governance process documentation as defined by our team, creation of process flow diagrams, data guidelines, and quality management principles.

Knowledge and Skills/Requirements

• Write and edit user-focused copy for all Data Governance efforts Which includes, but not limited, end user / internal knowledge base documentation, automated notifications / emails, data dictionaries, and business glossaries.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create and refine user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with process designers on all process flows to make sure they are documented properly.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform content decisions and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Develop and maintain content guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
• Capabilities to meet with technical system owners to ensure data is fully understood and defined appropriately.
• Determine the clearest and most logical way to represent information for consumer reader comprehension.
• Ability to help document and follow process flows.
• Review and/or copyedit content developed by other technical writers on the team.
• Ability to collaborate with other technical writers.
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
• Organizational, writing, editing, research, planning, and executing skills.
• Ability to monitor and report progress against system remediation plans.
• Surfacing blockers and escalations as appropriate to allow for hitting target deadlines.
• Ability to work with External Communications to ensure approval of customer-facing materials.
• Ability to work effectively across a matrixed environment and influence without formal authority.

Experience

• 8+ years of relevant technical writing-related experience.
• Knowledge of the Media and Entertainment and/or the MSO industry a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with related experience.
